I love these pictures
With the sky as grey as can be, he took one big breath.
The day was over. He knew this was true.
The day had been set in stone and had passed,
he looked down, and realized how alone he was.
The scars underneath his sleeves crisscrossed in a mosaic pattern.
He paced towards a streetlight, took out his cigarette and breathed it in,
let the tainted air fill his lungs.
He equated this feeling to death. “Beautiful” he mumbled.
He was ready to let it all go.
